Learn Life-Saving First Aid Skills for Free

The Surrey Community Resilience Partnership, working with the British Red Cross, is offering a FREE Community First Aid Training session in Leatherhead this November.

Open to adults and young people aged 15+, the informal and interactive session will help you build the confidence and skills to respond to common first aid situations, including accidents, injuries and sudden illness.

Date: Tuesday 17 November 2026
Time: 6.30pm to 8.30pm
Location: Leatherhead Library

Previous attendees have described the course as “relaxed, fun and really informative”, saying it gave them greater confidence to help others in an emergency.

Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that the course is designed to improve first aid knowledge and confidence, but does not provide a formal first aid qualification.

Surrey Prepared is a partnership of councils, emergency services, utility companies, the voluntary sector and other organisations working together to help Surrey communities prepare for emergencies.
