Join over 2,000 Surrey residents who’ve already benefited from a free HEAT visit. HEAT is fully grant funded and free for eligible Surrey residents. If your home’s Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is D or below (or you don’t have one), you’re likely eligible.
With around 300,000 Surrey homes rated D or lower, HEAT was created – with support from Surrey County Council – to help reduce emissions, improve comfort, and make homes healthier.
An Energy Champion visits last between 60-90 minutes. They will chat to you about any issues you have, and then conduct a thermal imaging survey with our state of the art cameras. We will then send you a written report with energy saving recommendations and any grant funding we think you’re eligible for, and where appropriate connect you with additional support, including up to 5 hours help with funding applications through our HEAT+ partner service.

Surrey County Council and Zero Carbon Guildford who manage this scheme have received some reports from residents that they are receiving scam calls offering home energy surveys and/or insulation.
